Evolvin ("we," "our," or "us") is a mobile application designed for personal growth, self-reflection, and mental wellness through AI-guided conversations, journaling, and shadow work. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use the Evolvin app.

By using Evolvin, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

• Shadow Web data — personal beliefs, patterns, values, and triggers that you create or that are identified through AI-guided exploration

• Anonymous usage events (e.g., features used, sessions completed)
• AI token usage counts

2.6 Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect location data
• We do not collect contact lists or phone data
• We do not use advertising trackers
• We do not record your screen or take screenshots

3. How We Use Your Data

• AI Coaching: Your messages and user context (name, coaching preferences, Shadow Web data) are sent to AI services to generate personalized responses and insights.
• Personalization: Your preferences and history improve the coaching experience over time.
• Voice Transcription: Voice journal entries are transcribed to text using an AI transcription service.
• Analytics: Anonymous usage data helps us improve the app. No personally identifiable information is included in analytics events.
• Account Management: Email and authentication data are used to manage your account and enable cross-device sync.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Evolvin:

We do not sell your data to any third party. Data is only shared with these services as necessary to provide the app's functionality.

5. Data Storage & Security

• All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
• AI API keys are stored server-side only and never included in the app.
• Database access is protected by Row Level Security (RLS) — you can only access your own data.
• Local data on your device is stored using encrypted storage (MMKV).
• Your data is stored on servers operated by Supabase (cloud infrastructure).

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request account deletion at any time through the app's settings.

• Upon deletion request, your account enters a 30-day grace period during which you can reverse the decision.
• After 30 days, all your data is permanently and irreversibly deleted, including: profile, messages, journal entries, sessions, Shadow Web data, goals, and token usage records.
• Signing out immediately wipes all locally stored data from your device.

Under applicable data protection laws (including the GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Data portability

8. Children's Privacy

Evolvin is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
